HAYWARD
The Hayward or possibly Howard family has not as yet been researched. There was one Hayward family living in Raisin Township, Lenawee County at the time Martha Emily Hayward married Fleming P. Mangus. This was the Stephen Hayward family, who was listed on the Lenawee County Census of 1850 as being born about 1777 in New Jersey. He was listed as a blacksmith. |
